Here is what the head writer of "THE TONIGHT SHOW" had to say about Anji!

Anji Stubbs competed in the Clean Comedy Challenge in 2016 and 2017. When she returned in 2017 she was a FINALIST in the competition!

Jimmy Brogan was the head writer for Jay Leno's Tonight Show from 1992-2000 and was a judge both years while Anji participated in the Challenge!

Anchorage Press names Black Sheep Comedy's Anji Stubbs, the "Best Comic of the Year!"

The AnchoragePress.com held an event to celebrate it's publication's awards for the "best of" with its readers, and they named Anji Stubbs the best comic of the year! During the Gala held to honor the winners Anji was asked to perform and here is what the Press wrote about that performance.

WHO IS BLACK SHEEP COMEDY?

Black Sheep Comedy was launched by two ridiculous Alaskan sisters who love laughter, who love people who love to laugh, and who want to bring laughter to the Last Frontier. May we introduce ourselves – ladies and gentlemen, Anji Stubbs and Jeannine Jabaay (insert curtseying and bowing here)!

Whereas most comedy clubs provide a stage where the jokes are referred to as "blue comedy" (look it up for yourself on Urban Dictionary... we won't go there), we're what you might call the "Black Sheep" of the comedy scene (in this case, that's a good thing).

WHAT IS BLACK SHEEP COMEDY ANYWAY?

Black Sheep Comedy produces clean stand-up comedy shows all over Alaska, as well as provides NATIONWIDE booking services for our very own stand-up comedian, Anji Stubbs.

Black Sheep Comedy also provides booking services for the pair of sisters (Jeannine Jabaay included!) to co-host your event if that would be more fun!
